snow day!

Making soap and watching it snow from my office window.
The birds love this bush...forsythia gone wild.

BTW...saw Avatar last night and that sci-fi icon, Sigourney Weaver.

I liked it. But after awhile you kind of forgot that it was in 3-D. Is that a good thing?

I think maybe it's a good day to bake....

Sat. lunch

Part 1 of lunch for Sarah tomorrow....now into the oven for about 30 minutes.

Tues. Dinner w/ Sarah in the city at Hearth.

Roasted loin of lamb with brussels sprouts, golden raisins, pine nuts for me....roasted duck breast with medjool dates and red endive for Sarah.

A wonderful meal and evening.

We came from Houston,Texas; Southampton, New York and from my own Mohegan Lake to visit my friend Lorraine in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida.

We taught together before we all retired in 2002.

It's sunny but not WARM......we've had a great time laughing and catching up.

Home today to the remnants of the big SNOW!

Dinner for 2

No Kidding. This was meatloaf for 2. Since we're eating pastured meat, portions have become much smaller. Don't we just eat too much meat anyway?

I'm off to FL tomorrow to visit with friends.

Not sure if I'm taking my computer.
