Could it be that this sage survived the winter we had? Found it when I ventured out into the yard this morning. Can spring be far behind?
I celebrated by taking a full size* bar of basil soap into the shower as a special treat....because is smells like spring to me. *we usually only use small ends of cut logs....our 'family soap' that we can't sell.
I make soap for a small business called Saipua (it now belongs to my daughter Sarah and her partner, Eric.) You can read all about that on the Saipua blog.
I have my own small business, Creekside Soaps, that makes equipment for soapmakers. (www.creeksidesoaps.com) I don't actually make the equipment...my husband does that. I pack, ship and do the bookkeeping.
So, I don't have a lot of free time, but when I do I like to do the things below. Not much interferes with my Mah Jongg game. I play once or twice each week.
